We are happy to announce our Fourth Annual "Steppin' ForWard" fund raising campaign ~ 'Steppin ForWard' is a campaign to benefit the Office of the Public Guardian, Aging Solutions, Inc. Due to budget reductions, hundreds of disabled adults and frail elders are at risk!
Aging Solutions, Inc. manages and supports these vulnerable adults by providing legal guardianship services. These disabled adults and frail elders are in need of public guardianship to support and manage their healthcare, financial and personal needs, as they are unable to do so on their own behalf. There are hundreds of vulnerable adults on a waiting list in need of representation. These are our elders and deserve our attention and respect....Not to be forgotten citizens.
The 2008 "Steppin' ForWard' event will be held on April 19, 2008 at the world famous Gaspar's Grotto in Ybor City. The event with a silent auction and Funky Shoe contest begins at 6:30 and goes til 9:30 with food and libations being served. Tickets are available for a donation of $35 in advance and $40 at the door.
We are always actively seeking philanthropic organizations or individuals who are willing to be partners by a donation of $10,000.00 or more. Partners in the ?Movement? and will be recognized in all future literature, the website, and in event banners. A gift of $2,500.00 will be used to ?adopt a ward? and replace the funding that has been cut to over twenty individuals currently receiving services and are at risk of losing their protection.
Please make checks payable to Aging Solutions, Inc. All other gifts in cash or kind are needed, appreciated and considered a charitable donation and are tax deductible.
